Pick a room

Now that you’re ready to get started, you need to pick a room in your house that you can turn into a grow room. The ideal grow room is small, has good ventilation, and can be light-tight. A closet, spare bedroom, or even an unused corner of your basement or garage can work well. Just make sure the space is big enough to hold all the equipment you’ll need and allow for proper ventilation. Once you’ve chosen your space, it’s time to start setting up your grow room.

Get some fans

Cannabis plants love fresh air, so it’s important to have good ventilation in your grow space. The easiest way to do this is to get a couple of fans and set them up so they’re blowing air in and out of the room. You can also open windows or doors to get some fresh air circulating, but fans will help to keep the air moving and stop it from getting too stagnant.

Install grow lights

You will need to install grow lights and place them about 12 inches above the cannabis plants. The grow lights should be on for about 18 hours a day and off for about 6 hours. This will give the plants the light they need to grow.

Set up an exhaust system

Cannabis plants give off a lot of heat and moisture when they are growing, so it’s important to have an exhaust system in place to remove the heat and moisture from the grow room. The best way to do this is to set up a ventilated grow room with an exhaust fan and an intake fan. The exhaust fan should be placed near the top of the grow room, and the intake fan should be placed near the bottom. The two fans should be connected by a duct, and the intake fan should be set up to bring in fresh air from outside.
