Gather your supplies
To make cannabis-infused honey, you’ll need the following supplies:
-1 cup of honey
-1 gram of cannabis (decarboxylated)
-A mason jar with a tight fitting lid
-A saucepan
-Cheesecloth or a coffee filter
Once you have your supplies gathered, you’re ready to start infusing your honey!
Decide how much honey and cannabis you want to use
You’ll need to know how much honey and cannabis you want to use before you get started. Keep in mind that the amount of THC or CBD in your finished product will be determined by the amount of cannabis you use.
If you don’t want to get too high, start with 1 gram (1000 mg) of cannabis for every 1 cup (250 ml) of honey. If you want a stronger product, use up to 2 grams (2000 mg) of cannabis for every 1 cup (250 ml) of honey.
Infuse the honey with cannabis
Ingredients:
-1 cup honey
-1/8-1/4 ounce cannabis
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Spread your cannabis evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
3. Once the time is up, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool.
4. Grind the cannabis finely using a food processor, coffee grinder, or mortar and pestle.
5. Add the ground cannabis to the honey and stir until combined.
6. Store your infused honey in a glass jar or container and enjoy!
Store your honeycomb
If you’re growing your own cannabis, you may want to consider infusing honey with it. Raw honeycomb is a great way to store the cannabinoids and terpenes from your harvest, and it’s easy to do. Just follow these simple steps.
First, you’ll need to harvest your cannabis. Make sure the flowers are dry and free of any excess moisture. trimmed of leaves. You can either grind the Cannabis flowers by hand or use a grinder.
Next, place the Cannabis in a glass jar and pour in the honey. seal the jar tightly and shake well to mix everything together.
Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks so that the cannabinoids and terpenes have time to infuse into the honey. After 2 weeks, you can remove the Cannabis flower pieces by straining them out with a cheesecloth or coffee filter.
