Gather your ingredients
To make these potent cannabis cookies, you’ll need:
-1 cup (2 sticks) of butter, softened
-3/4 cup granulated sugar
-3/4 cup packed brown sugar
-2 large eggs
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
In addition to the above ingredients, you will also need:
-1 gram of your favorite cannabis strain, finely ground (you can also use hash or kief)
If you don’t have a grinder, you can finely chop your weed with a sharp knife. Just be sure to remove any large stems first.
Preheat your oven
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Make the dough
cannabutter or oil to the bowl and mix everything together until it’s fully incorporated. If the dough seems too crumbly, add a little more fat until it comes together.
Once the dough is mixed, use a spoon or your hands to form it into small balls. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then use a fork to press them down slightly. Make sure the cookies are spaced out evenly so they have room to spread while baking.
Add the cannabis
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup of butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk; mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Fold in the oats.
Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in cannabis. Mix until completely blended and let cool slightly. Stir cannabis butter into batter until completely blended. Pour batter into prepared dish.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

It is very important to let the cookies cool completely before eating them. If you eat them while they are still hot, the cannabis will not have had enough time to properly infuse into the butter, and you will not get the full effect of the THC.
