Decarboxylate the cannabis
Decarboxylation is an important step when making cannabis cream. By decarboxylating the cannabis, you will be activating the THC and CBD, which will make the cream more effective. There are a few different ways that you can decarboxylate the cannabis, but the most common method is to bake it in the oven.
Preheat oven to 240 degrees F
The first step to make cannabis cream is to decarboxylate, or activate, the THC in the cannabis. This process is also known as “toasting” and makes the THC more available for your body to use.
Preheat oven to 240 degrees F.
Break up the cannabis into small pieces and spread evenly on a baking sheet.
Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool before using.

Preheat your oven to 245°F (120°C). Break your cannabis up into small pieces and spread it out evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

It is important to continually stir the cannabis while it is baking, as this helps to Decarboxylate the cannabis and ensures that all of the THC is activated. You will know that the cannabis is Decarboxylated when it turns from a green color to a brown color.
Remove from oven and let cool
After you have roasted your cannabis in the oven, remove it from the oven and let it cool. Once it has cooled, you will want to decarboxylate the cannabis. This is a process of heating the cannabis to activate the THC. You can do this by putting the cannabis in a non-stick saucepan on low heat for about 10 minutes. stirring occasionally.
Infuse the cream
The most important step in making your cannabis cream is to properly infuse the cream. You’ll want to start by heating your cream on the stove until it’s just hot to the touch. Then, add your cannabis and let it simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. The longer you let it simmer, the more potent the cream will be. Just be sure not to let it boil, or you’ll lose all of the THC.

Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, for 3-4 hours
Slowly heat the cream over low heat, stirring frequently, for 3-4 hours. You want to maintain a very low temperature to ensure that the cannabinoids do not degrade.
After 3-4 hours, remove from heat and let cool slightly. Pour the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine strainer into a clean jar or container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Strain mixture through a cheesecloth or fine strainer
To make your cream, you will need:
-¼ ounce of finely ground cannabis
-1 cup of heavy cream
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-A double boiler
-Cheesecloth or a fine strainer
-A glass jar with a lid
Pour the cream into the top part of your double boiler and add the ground cannabis. Stir gently and place the top of the double boiler over simmering water. Slowly heat the mixture for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add the vanilla extract and continue cooking for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Line a strainer with cheesecloth or a coffee filter and place it over a bowl. Pour the mixture into the strainer to catch any large pieces of cannabis. Use a rubber spatula to press down on the mixture, extracting as much liquid as possible. Pour the strained mixture into your glass jar and seal with a lid. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Use the cream
Cannabis cream can be used to ease pain, inflammation, and muscle tension. It can also be used as a natural alternative to chemical-based painkillers. Cannabis cream is made by infusing cannabidiol (CBD) or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) into a base cream. This makes the cream more potent and effective.
