Gather your materials.

You’ll need the following materials to make your cannabis suppositories:

– 1 gram of coconut oil
– 1 gram of cocoa butter
– 1 teaspoon of cannabutter or cannabis coconut oil
– A glass jar or measuring cup
– A small saucepan
– A double boiler or a makeshift one (two heatproof bowls that nest together, for example)
– An adult size #00 gelatin capsule shell (you can find these online or at a health food store)
– A small funnel
-A storage container for your finished product – choose something airtight, like a pill bottle

Melt the cocoa butter.

Start by melting the cocoa butter. You can do this in a saucepan over low heat or in a bowl set over a pot of simmering water. If you’re using the stovetop method, be sure to stir the cocoa butter occasionally to prevent it from scorching.

Once the cocoa butter has melted, remove it from the heat and stir in the cannabis concentrate. Be sure to mix well so that the cannabis is evenly distributed.

Next, line a metal teaspoon with plastic wrap and spoon the mixture into the tsp, using your finger to push it down into the spoon and shape it into a bullet shape. You can also use a small silicone mold if you have one on hand.

Place the suppository mold in the fridge for about an hour, or until solidified. Once solidified, remove from the mold and store in a cool, dark place until ready to use.

Add the cannabis.

This is the most important step, so be sure to measure out the correct amount of cannabis. You can use anywhere from 2-4 grams of cannabis for this recipe. Once you have your desired amount, add it to the blender and pulse until it’s a fine powder.

Pour into the mold.

To make the suppository mold, first line a small container with plastic wrap. Then, use a small funnel to pour the melted cocoa butter and cannabis mixture into the mold. Be sure to leave some space at the top of the mold so that you can easily remove the suppository later. Once you have poured the mixture into the mold, use a popsicle stick or similar object to stir and slightly swirl the mixture around. This will help to evenly distribute the cannabis throughout the suppository.

Let it cool and solidify.

Once you’ve reached the desired temperature, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down and solidify. This can take up to an hour, so be patient. Once it’s cooled and solidified, your cannabis suppository is ready to use!

Remove from the mold.

Once your suppository is firm, remove it from the mold. You can store it in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to a month.

Store in a cool, dry place.

If you are making your own cannabis suppositories, it is important to store them in a cool, dry place. You can make them up to two weeks ahead of time and store them in the fridge, but they will lose their potency over time. For best results, use them within a week or two of making them.
